What in hell is the matter with that guy?Is he afraid of women .... would a woman assault him or his daughter? And calling the police was a good one!
Going to politicians homes is wrong, you cant spin it any other way. Left, right, middle it just doesnt matter who it is, its wrong and stupid and hateful. Funny, Mary Walsh is famous for her "Warrior" attacks on Mike Harris, Stephen Harper and now Rob Ford...get the drift? There's a Liberal Premier who is borrowing money from Ontario taxpayers who are not even born yet but, havent seen a "warrior" attack on him, how come? Hey, on the campaign trail, at a meeting, in their offices they are all fair game, but, not at their personal houses.
Its his own home. Its his six year old daughter. If you claim to be progressive, you should re think this.Kinsella gets it. You should too.
Rotterdam,I'm willing to correct myself, but I don't believe Rob Ford's accounting of the events.
If it were some noname in a costume, then sure, I could understand a 'call the police' reaction. But really, when it's Mary Walsh, and there's a camera crew behind her, I have a hard time understanding that response.Even if we grant Anon's point about it being inappropriate and anti-conservative, that Mary Walsh is "famous" for her Warrior "attacks" on conservative politicians, it still doesn't explain calling the police. If you're not good-humoured enough to play along, ask them to leave.(Just imagine what he'll do on Monday, with dozens of costumed folks coming up to his door...)That said, maybe the slow police response will get him to rethink his approach to the police budget.
Dennis,We cannot take Anonymous 12:37's comment that it's anti-conservative. THH22M has ambushed Dalton McGuinty, Jean Chretien, and Bernard Landry.
